Choosing a bay. The west end holds the best-known beaches. Meads Bay and Rendezvous Bay have calm water and the island’s best-known restaurants close by. Shoal Bay West and the West End are quieter and more residential, and Long Bay is wide and peaceful. Choosing a size. Villas for rent here run from two and three-bedroom homes for couples and small families to estates of nine, ten and eleven bedrooms for weddings, reunions and multi-generational trips. Several can be combined with a neighbouring villa when a group outgrows one house.

What is included. Inclusions drive the real price. Some villas arrive fully staffed, with a house manager, daily housekeeping and breakfast; others include housekeeping only and arrange a chef on request. Each villa page lists what is included and what costs extra.
